I've had a few requests for a DPM tutorial so here it is. As normal with my camo painting I think its best to get the "look" of the camo rather than trying to accurately copy shades and patterns. The figure is a Liberation Falklands British Special Forces guy. At each stage I'll show a front and back view. I have a set system for painting figures, basically the castings cleaned up, based then painted.
All colours are Vallejo unless otherwise stated. Dougie
Stage 1
Figure based and primed in black, the face and headgear have been completed

Stage 2
Camo base applied, 921 English Uniform. Remember to leave clothing joins and seams.

Stage 3
Paint green swirls with 922 USA Uniform.

Stage 4
Paint Brown swirls with 822 German SS Cam Blk Brown

Stage 5
Highlight camo base with 847 Dark Sand

Stage 6
Highlight green swirls with 886 Green grey

Stage 7
Highlight brown with 984 Flat Brown

Stage 8
Paint on the black swirls, relign and tidy up the seams and the DPM is done!

Stage 9
Figure finished, I've completed the webbing, weapon, boots etc, gloss poly varnished for protection then matt for the look and added some scenics, job done!
