Lots of folks have been asking about Motor Pool II and when it would be released - well, now I can tell you: Today.

Our very own Chris Maes put in a yeoman's effort to compile a fairly exhaustive list of vehicles one might expect to encounter on battlefields through 2010 or so. As US Cav guy, Chris brings personal experience and wealth of knowledge to bear on the subject - as well as a thorough-going understanding of Ambush Alley and Force on Force mechanics.

And that's the pie - here's the cherry: Since we had to raise prices on our printed products recently, we decided to do something to make it up to you. We're giving MP 2 away for FREE.

You can find downloadable files for the vehicles of the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, and China here:

http://www.ambushalleygames.com/about-a ... downloads/

More nationalities will follow, as will WWII vehicle lists and stats.

The files are in a spreadsheet format and we've left them unlocked so you can tinker with them if you think Chris hasn't got something quite right. If you don't have Excel, don't worry, you'll find a link to a free Excel reader on the same page as our MP2 downloads.

Enjoy, folks, and remember to give Chris a tip of the hat when you see him online - he put a tremendous amount of work into this project and his knowledge and attention to detail are plain to see! GREAT JOB, CHRIS!!

I'll have to put a generic list together. That's a good idea!

Thanks a lot guys! Exactly what I needed. :D

Where can we suggest more military vehicles for later updates? I just had a quick look into Chris' lists and there are some vehicles I have models for (Iraqis in particular) that are not in yet.

This material is all fantastic, excellent job Chris. Bless you all for providing a free copy, that is one of the coolest things I've ever seen a gamming company do.
