I am curious to know how many AA gamers have prior or current military experience.
From reading the forum I see that a number of people speak from personal experience.
Please feel free to ask Shawn to add options.

Need to add a "former military" option. Many of us have experience (in my case, 15 years), but (for whatever reason) didn't actually retire. Thanks.

Good point Jim.
Shawn, can you change "Retired military" to "Former Military" or just add "Former Military"?
As a lifelong civillian I missed the distinction when I put up the poll.

I was a Navy brat for 17 years. That counts for something right? Other than the explanation for how well I could swear at someone by the time I was 12.

I've been a reservist with the band corp for two years now... Ad a great two years its been
We cop a lot of flack for being 'Limp Dicked Bandies' but I've picked up on enough gigs for that to not bother me I get paid more too.
I'm also a weapons instructor at a private range... At the moment I'm teaching three kids who are determined they want to be snipers. Little rats...

29 years and counting in the Belgian Army. Originally a Combat Engineer I'm doing my 3 year tour of duty as a Basic Skills Instructor (candidate NCO and officers) now. I command a platoon of candidate NCO at the moment.

Just under 10 years active (and that includes two tank platoon leader, one recon platoon leader, and two company command positions) and been working as a contractor for the Army ever since. My wife is still active (a BN commander at Ft Bragg).
I started as an armor officer and then switched to military intelligence. As an MI guy I was a BDE S2 twice.
