I will be running a Force on Force Game (The Crown Jewels scenario from "The Road to Baghdad") at the Ottawa Miniatures Gamers club http://creasey.ca/omg/ on July 17

The terrain I made for the game turned out to be a bit of a disaster but I ran the game at the club today with what I had and I think it went rather well. There are some pictures here http://tyler.provick.ca/omg-forum/viewt ... ?f=7&t=133

We ran the Crown Jewels Scenario twice -- Once without the Iraqi armour which the US won handily and then with the T-55 and BMPs which the Iraqis won due to some really bad Fog of War card draws early in the game.

Everyone at the club seemed to like the rules so I think I will be running another game in the not too distant future.

Duncan:

I was able to get 'clearance' to partake late into the weekend...glad I did, I was late for the scenario brief but alot of fun was had with the group, the scenario, and I think the ruleset at large.

Thanks again (I'll try to post some pics as soon as I can)...we'll have to plan another FoF day at the club soon...

Mikey:

A very sincere thank you...I served in the Canadian Army and Air Force for nearly 17 years and had the opportunity to serve with a number of US Armed Forces personnel throughout the globe...the recognition from our neighbors to the south is greatly appreciated and goes a long way.

Cheers all,
Stan

Thanks Stan, I think it went really well also.

I think it is the smoothest introduction of a new ruleset that we have had at the club.

I will definitely be running another FOF game in the not too distant future.
