Just a note to say that I will be running a demo of the Knife fight Scenario from the FoF rulebook on January 12, 2012 at Games Plus in Mt. Prospect for our club the Chicago Skirmish Wargames.

Tom Tom, yeah that would be good to see you again if you can make it. Not sure how many are coming. But you MUST come to Little Wars in April. I have created a new scenario for Force on Force that I will be running there. Something quite different shall we say. Of course I may need some help playtesting before then. I will let you know.

Sounds interesting! Lemme see if I can make it. Maybe Goomb and I can carpool.
You people are pulling me back into this game system! Between Goomb and you with FoF and Art with Tommorrow's war, I'm sliding back in.
Don't know what I'm going to do when Piers finishes that WWII book!

Steve it should be fun. I could always let one person run a single tank - but then if the tank gets taken out they are done. There will some other games there that night as well.

Steve, one last thing, if you feel yourself being pulled back to FoF and TW then you will REALLY want to play in my new scenario for Little Wars! If you're good I will let you playtest it  it's a new one that I wrote just for LW.

Amen to getting them started early. My little guy (5) was just painting some minis WITH me! Awesome. Another 5 years or so and I can hang up my brushes and just play! His older brother will be bugging me for equal time now. Yeah, if I just had the 7 year old we'd be all in. He'd love it. The 5 year old's hand are possesed by demons. Several, we think  . Think we'll stick to Heroscape that night. Just drop me an email next time. I'm not here much. I only caught wind as I was checking out a link from my buddy Art. Piers stuff, of course! I really would like to give it a go.

I am sorry to say that I have to back out of this Thursday nights demo due to a death in the familly. I could run this the following Thursday at Games Plus if anyone is interested.

I'm in EGV and visit Games+ often. More than likely I can make the 19th after work but I will try to clear the evening with the wife. I have yet to meet anyone else around here that plays FoF so it would be nice to finally do so. At the moment I'm trying to convert friends in my WWII game group.
