If you're going to Historicon do you want to run some demo games for us? We're looking for people willing to run demos at the Osprey booth. If you have the figures and terrain to run a 2x2 demo at the booth that would be awesome! Osprey has some figures useable, but they won't have everything.
If you don't want to do that we're ALWAYS looking for people to run full on games in the game hall!
Help us out and your name can go on the Wall of Honor! What's that? Don't you wish you knew! :p (It's no in any bathrooms, promise!)

Heck yeah, I'd love to help out! I'm not tied down by any other GM related stuff now so I'm looking for uncompensated work I have enough stuff that is ex-Piers, ex-Dougie and the like that I can throw down a decent table and support a variety of scenarios. Just holler if ya need something. Charlie

I'm running two games myself (home brew/similar to FOF)...but if someone is running a demo game when I'm not using my stuff, I can provide plenty of Africans and Arab figures along with terrain. Brad

Glad you'll be there...Roughly how many African rebels? Need to know this a little ahead of time in order to make some roughy even forces for everyone! Brad

Peggy,
I am running a FoF game (self-designed Fallujah battle) as well as an Ambush Z game on Friday. But can do demo if you still need help.

Game went very smoothly the second day when I had 9 players running the 5 platoon sized factions...and the "liquified" version of FoF worked out quite good as well as I had planned making the game play a lot faster and a lot dirtier. The first day the government troops won with a whopping 100 Warlord points, and the second day the Islamist rebels won with about 80 or 90 Warlord points. The second day the Government forces decided to fight on 3 fronts....leading to their downfall with -35 points as all 12 vehicles of theirs were in flames by the end of the game, and they had barely any infantry left as well and their second in command was shot point blank by a double barreled AA gun as he tried to get to his helicopter. Marxist army and Christian militia along with the mercenaries ended up doing decently as well. Very pleased with how everything turned out...also won a small award for the game as well. Might be running this game type again in the future...

Congratulations on your award, Janick! GREAT JOB! Thanks so much for showing the flag for us at Historicon. Honestly, getting our games run at cons, big or small, is the best publicity possible. You guys who get out there and show the game off are our best salesmen! You guys truly kick ass.

Thanks Shawn! Hopefully will run some more FoF games in the future at Historicon. Want to do Somalia or Afghanistan eventually...
