I will be working on some more cold war soon, at the moment I am working on ISAF multi national ranges. I have also re sculpted the USMC sniper team :

First 2 sets of Modern French now done. Enough to make a standard patrol. I've worked quite hard on these and they look great in the hand, the photos don't look to good though in my opinion.

Also finished the downed helicopter crew for the Somalia range. Thats 1x sitting wounded with MP5k and helmet on, 1x standing firing with MP5k helmet on, 1x on the move with Mp5k no helmet and one prone WIA/KIA I based these on photos of the real Black Hawk crews who seemed to be wearing BDU with less pockets and black utility vests rather than the film BHD which had jump suits and tan pilot suits. I also gave them the correct MP5k rather than MP5. I had to guess the rear of the vests as no photos were available.

These are great looking. Is the colored material wax? It never occurred to me that they would be built up in layers like that.

Looking forward to more Cold War goodies!

Good FOF 'stan stuff so
soon we'll have a new challenge playing:
1 the willing but incompetent (might need more ANA)
2 the competent but unwilling
3 the incompetents but willing
4 the incompetent and unwilling
as before the competent and willing.

It could be funny if some vets in here could classify ISAF contingents into these categories?
(playing as I Stay In FOb could be expensive and dull though I am sure S&S would like us to do it)
Jc
and soon (sigh) I will have to scrounge the internet for more urban buildings (the fallujah scen book?)
What stated as a nice small game on the side ends up 2 cubic meters and 1300 euros away (pre fall euros that is)
