Ooh - go away on holiday and a useful thread like this crops up. Thanks for the input everyone, and please keep it coming.
Some of these are already on the list (so to speak) as well as some bits not mentioned already. Interesting to note that the 'bad-guys' aren't getting much love here. One of our early concerns was that the irregulars and Taliban were getting seriously outgunned by what we offered as opposition (hence more support weapons etc.).
One query based on Steve's list - why Mich helmets for SF? Is there a particular unit that you are aiming at or is this a generic sort of thing?

Well Keith, I would like to add more Taliban to the list, especially RPD and RPK's, also some generic Insurgent types to add to the pack you already offer.

If (when? ) you do more Taliban with RPD/RPK LMGs...please use the box or drum magazies. While this may not be 100% accurate all the time...it certanly make the "support weapons" spotted more easily! Oh....and please restock the "cart"! I'd like a couple as terrain clutter. Maybe another one or two if you package the cart with the donkey from the livestock "set". - Jim P.S. Vehicle crew figures are still tops on my wish list...followed closely by US with Javelin...followed closely by US with shotgun....followed by dismounted vehicle crew (maybe looking a bit "worse for wear")...etc.

Keith I want to finish my US and British platoons with some support before i start my Taliban thats why my list doesnt include any of those pesky Taliban yet. Also i ahve two sons in Afghanistan at the moment and i need to certainly finish my British Platoon before they get back, mind you i am sure i will get something wrong. Anyway will there be any more Us/British releases in september/october. As requards the Mich helmet i thought this was the helmet the US Special forces Delta are wearing in pack US8 ( I could be wrong though)
thanks Steve

Then you can just send me new stuff when it's available and withdraw the funds...without me having to bother to order. That sounds great. I have some money to spend (sold my 20mm Japanese figures...and need to turn the funds into 28mm goodies!). Cheers, - Jim

Nice to have you back Keith.
Can you confirm if we'll be seeing more US and Brit Regulars in new poses?

Well I've been avoiding adding to this list but I can't wait any longer...
Please, please, please make a pack of NCO's. I have an entire platoon here waiting for some squad leaders. I've said this before and I'll say it again.
On the crew figures for Bob Winwards brilliant Imprint models, if you're going to make a loder figure for the M1A1 hatch can you please also make him a decent M240 to man? That's the only part of that model that really looks poor.
I'd like to see more generic insurgents too, they're good figures to use as foreign fighters.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Everyone, Now, to try and answer some of your questions. Steve - the SpecOps figures are using the Crye Airframe helmet, and we are likely to do some more of those at some point but not for the time being. Our next focus is for some new Taliban figures, which we hope to have available this autumn ... probably in time for one of the bigger UK shows/conventions. After that will come more 'regulars', probably US. The Javelin team is a no-brainer and likely to be first. I'm reluctant to give definitve timescales because these figures require quite a bit of too-and-fro between the sculptor, Empress and the casters. The weapons alone are exquisite little models and take a while to produce. New forces (eg. US Marines) take that bit longer because all of the details and parts need to be made before the actual figures can get started. Predicting this is a tricky business. We are going to start putting a selection of Imprint kits up on the website, and the addition of crewmembers and stowage packs will most likely depend on how that goes. The new Strykers and turreted Humvees are beauties, with another very handy piece of UK kit due out soon too. I wish I could be more specific, but I'd rather keep y'all guessing than disapoint anyone

Some 28mm Iraqi troops and insurgents would be good

For the moment we are concentrating on the 'right-now' subjects, but there are certainly one or two 'historical' modern things we'd like to do when and if time permits.

Keith, Great news can we expect some US releases and British releases this year, i know you cant be specific with dates. Will the US javelin set be similar to the British with a sniper etc. Also having spoken to one of my sons on his Rand R from Afghan his comments are we need more British with DMR. Any chance Steve

If you are focused more on "Afghans" right now, I think you should work on Afghan civilians rather than militias. I don't think anyone is concerned about the insurgents being out gunned, we'll just buy more of 'em if that's the case. And there are more than enough 28mm sources for mid-east insurgents in general. For your Marines, please have more "Shooty" poses, less casual poses. Running poses are great too, but should be running in an "assault" pose.
