The rule seem to suggest that you measure from each figure in a unit.

But to what do you measure? The center of the target unit? The closest figure in the target unit?

Can you tell me where in the rules it says how you measure whether a unit is in Optimum Range?

All measurements are from the center of one unit to the center of another.
