Page 77, I can read : "Note that some vehicules possess outstanding sensor suites which alleviate the Buttoned Up penalties. Such vehicules will be indentified in their vehicle description". Okay, but which "identification" ? I have looked through the list of all vehicules, I have found nothing. How I can know if the vehicule is equipped or not ? The scenario nbr 18 indicates : 2 M1A1 (HA) The TC can stay indide without Reaction penalties, M1A1 beeing fitted with this sensor? Or I must expose him to avoid penalties ? From page 140 to page 143, vehicule attribute chapter, nothing about these spécific sensors. Only found : Advanced Optics Sensors : Optimum Range X 2 Enhanced Fire Control : +1 FP Nothing about Buttoned or Unbutonned situations Thanks again The annoying french player

Not annoying at all!
We didn't do as good a job identifying vehicles with advanced sensors as we should have! As a rule of thumb, anything with advanced optics can probably be assumed to have "advanced sensors." Any of the new AFVs with urban combat kits on them would qualify, too.
Sorry for any confusion or frustration on your part - we dropped the ball on this one!

THis W-E, we have played scenario 18 Hvy Metal (hot hot for talebs !). We have used 2 X M1H1 (HA) ; crew are stayed inside the MBT. No Reaction Test penalties thanks to his "special" sensors. But .... I have not accepted this bonus against IED triggered by man. I have applyed the penalty Sensors : Okay against a shot, not against an IED triggered
Are you in accord with me ?

Not really The trigger man is placed within 6 inches of your declared target. the FWF may then make an opposed die roll to spot if they fail too bad if they win then they have to choose between running for cover or trying to kill the trigger man, they can not do both ....it actually reflects more of a chance of seeing the device rather then the trigger man, but trigger men tend to be nervous or zealous and happy to meet their maker so they often make a show of it either out of fear or wanting to make themselves better martyr material for the masses....Mikey

with out saying to much I was a member of the Security trasition command and I must state that the Iraqi version of the M1 is absolutely not an SA model and does not include the 1550 data bus let alone eplars ,FBCB2 or Blue force tracker equipment or interface that would qualify it as an Situational awareness version....Mikey

Without saying too much, it may not have the data bus but it IS an SA upgrade. The 'SA' stands for "Situational Awareness".
The FBCB2 and BlueForce tracker were not the only items which made it an SA variant. It was mainly the video cameras which they have. - Hence the Advanced Sensors Rule applies.
