Hi folks just a quick one, how do you capture someone?

If i have to catch a POI, do i have to close assault and depending on if i win the combat then roll and see if i roll a 1?

The reason i ask is in scenario 7 in OEF, victory points for capture 10, for killing him 5, obviously 10 being preferable.

That is correct. so the 5 point difference is all down to the luck of the dice.

Cheers mate, sorry for the late reply, been a little busy. Played at the club the other night and my opponent had to capture a POI, they were all shocked when i said about having to roll a 1 to get the 10 points. But when the moment arrived, dah dah a 1 was rolled.
