Hi

The rulebook states that some players base their models by fire team. I'm using 12mm Minifigs to play FoF and I'm wondering how others who game in 10/12mm are basing their models.

Thanks

Vidal

OK I call mine 10mm but your right they are 12mm....I feel they have detail enuf to base individualy.
But that said I do base my 6mm by fireteam which i found to be easier to move due to the size.

I think I'll go with the individual basing. Can I ask how big your bases are and what you're using?

Thanks

The only way your going to find anything smaller then a US penny (if you live in the US) is to go to a hardware store like ACE and by some loose washers that feel right to you.
I use US pennys . My GFI Minifigs have not seen much use as the US Dist went under and my collection is far from complete...so i have reverted back to 6mm to do the RTB book. Its going to be a while before I can seriously start my 20mm collection.
I 20mm priority ElHiem USMC, TB/AQ, UK and then US ARMY.
I have some figures he was kind enuf to send me and OMG they are the chit I gotta have them.
20 mm buildings I want the AAG stuff but no telling when they will sell it again.....so im going with Gamecraft minnies 20mm line these are simply stunning i have most of his 1/285 stuff and have to have more. good luck if you need any help PM me im sorta the small scale nutter on the board....Mikey

I do indeed use 1 cent euro coins for individually basing 10mm minifigs. It works fine for regulars I find. However, irregulars tend to get a bit spread out on that size individual bases, so I will probably re-base them on larger coins.

I used to use pennies for the general run of the mill figure and bust out with a nickel for the lead character :D

I use washers for basing my 20mm figures. The washers have the advantage that they adhere to magnets, so I line my storage boxes with magnetic sheet and the figures are held safely in place.
