Hi guys,
the movie "Black Hawk Down" was the reason for me to start playing Ambush Alley. I own the "old" Day of the Rangers" - Book of Ambush Alley. Now there is a new one published by Osprey. In comparison of both books - what´s the differences between them? Are the any significant different scenarios in it? I´m not sure if I´d spend money for the new book only to realize that it´s nearly the same as the old one...

From a consumer standpoint I can't help, but I can let you know what's IN the book.
It does included the original 10 scenarios from DotR only changed to fit with 2nd ed of the rules. It also has 10 brand new scenarios in it as well.
There's also more non-American OOBs included.

I have the old one but I really would recomend the new one . to me it actualy compliments the old one which by the way is on its way to being a very collectable item.....Mikey

Well,
the additional 10 missions make it a good deal for me. Have ordered it right now via amazon... ;-) I really hope it´s worth all the money.

I did have to think twice before buying the new one but I am glad I did, the new scenarios are quite interesting.
