the cards could double up as '' top trumps '' .. LOL

I'm considering doing conflict specific "Motor Pool" card decks. That way you can toss the cards for the vehicles you're using on the table instead of having a book to paw through during the game and smash trees with (not that I've ever done that . . . of course not . . . ).

How does that sound?

Something like these? I started working on these a coupleof months ago because I thought they would be easier than lookig up stats in books or thumbing through tablets of data.

Well, since it is such a small request... :P

I don't want to step on any toes or anything. If there are no objections I will post more up as I come up with them. I currently create cards as the upcoming scenario we are about to run needs. I sometimes work on them when work is slow as well.

If there are any specific requests please post them and I will get to them as I can.

Again, this is only if I am not stepping on any toes with this. If I am please let me know.

The reason I suggest conflict or scenario specific cards is just the sheer number of fighting machines and thier varients I think it would be imposible to produce enough cards to suit everyone. I think its doable if we break it down by conflict with a way to stat out the odd vehicle thats a personal fave. IE WW2 , Early AIW,Korea, French indochina/Malaya,American Nam, More AIW, Indopackistani Wars, Brushfire wars /Wild Geese, SA, and on and on see what I mean and then sadly which vehicle is availible in what scale . I thank god that this game system does not require Massive minitures or we would all go broke. I hope we do not loose sight of what kind of Battles AA/FOF allow us to fight . If I wanted to field BNs of Mech or armour Id buy CWC or spearhead I love the way reality translates from AA/FOF to the table top you bet Im a ass kicking Yank and Ive got M1s in my army "but that does not mean that I will see one this game unless im really lucky or bring fire any time i want thru airpower . Yes you will get it maybe just not exactly when you ask for it....Real life love it .....Mikey

These are on the to do list!

Echo5Hotel, what's the source of your images? Are they public domain, by any chance?

I really don't know to be honest with you. What is defined as public domain? I simply go search through Google for images of the specific vehicle and grab whatever crops up, can be sized correctly and still look good.

Most stuff from the US DoD is public domain. There are also a lot of public domain photo clearing-houses.

Basically, a publisher can use public domain images for free and won't be sued if the original photographer or publisher sees them in someone else's book.

I don't think you'd get in trouble for using pics you pulled from various non-public domain sources in your fan created cards, but we'd have to track down the owners of the material and negotiate for their use in a printed deck.

So, depending on what we find, our eventual published decks may not be as pretty as fan produced decks.

That said, you're not stepping on anyone's toes putting decks together to share with your fellow players! Feel free to use the vehicle write-ups on our website!
