Hey Guys...

Just wondering about Canada in Tomorrows Verse. What type of stats or what type of things do you think a Canadian force would be have/like?

What do you think would make them a unique force compared to the US or other "NATO" based troops?

My first guess would be to make them very much like current forces. Make them pretty much the same as US troops, but give them unique vehicles?

Yeah, good suggestion. I was wanting to give the forces a good medical feel. Maybe vehicles that act as Casevac points or medics of some sort?

Not sure off hand if the rules system would allow that to happen or not.

That's just my two cents but regarding vehicles acting as medics, I maybe wrong but I think that the spirit of the rules is to (just as in real life) evacuate the casualties from the battlefield (i.e. from TW's gameboard) via casevac points asap rather than keeping them on the field for treatment. A kind a mobile onboard "hospital" would be an unfair advantage gamewise, but above all a juicy target for the enemy.

Insurgents in many modern conflicts already tend to target ambulances and medics so one can imagine that in the future they would be just too happy to blow your "medic" vehicles and their passengers to bits. So any force would be very reluctant to use them while enemies are around. So logically they would be kept on the rear area, that is off the gameboard. On the other hand some kind of medical vehicles are already portrayed in the game: the care bear bots.

As for the equipment of the Canadian forces one can imagine they would mainly use foreign equipments (some of them built under license) just as their today’s counterparts. For example their rifle would be a copy of the Americain M1, built localy, and called C1. That's just a suggestion anyway.
