I bought two blister packs of Rebel Mini's 15mm Scourge many months ago. I needed a change of pace from my current project load so decided to see how fast I could paint these and still have them somewhat presentable. These guys make great looking Terminator or Necron models. There was very little flash or mold lines so cleaning was a breeze.
I organized them into four fire teams consisting of two assault weapons, one AT launcher and one SAW. One other team was equipped with two plasma flame throwers and two assault rifles. Finally the packs came with two really big guns that I decided would make good heavy sniper rifle teams. Even with all these figures I still had several left over. The value for the money I feel is excellent!

Nice! It really is a nice feeling when a project is done, and taking only 4 hours? You do have a strong brush-fu!

first few pics I though pah - ok
however , when you get the close up it really shows how nice they are, especially in just 4 hours!!!
exceptionally well done
Ive also never been keen on the rebel minis. Im not sure why, probably as Ive not seen any in the flesh, however seeing these and some later releases Ive looked that little bit of harder and they are really nice. So much, Ive ordered a bunch

Thanks for the compliments. I too have never thought much of Rebel until the last couple years. The quality of their miniatures has greatly improved, esp the new vehicles. The Viper walker is a personal favorite.
The goal here was to show that its possible to get into the game with little investment in both time and money and still have a competitive army (depending on what tech level you choose for your robots). I was hoping to encourage some of the players at our LGS that are not sure abt the game that it takes very little effort to get a playable force.
So far Ive been running them as TL3 smart bots and they have run over opposing forces that were three times their number and fire power.
