Hi guys,
playing this scenario tonight and have a couple of small questions. Thanks for any answers you can provide.
First question: Under the notes on the vehicles (page 142) it says 'Heavy Hitter'. Is this +1D already included in the 6D stats, or do I add it on myself? I'd have guessed that I add it on as if it's already included there's no actual need to mention it.
However in the same location under 'Improved MGs' it says 'MG firepower increased due to' which to me suggests that the increase is already included in the 4Dice in this case. Especially as it doesn't give an amount to increase by.
So is Heavy Hitter already included in the 6D main-gun stat? Am I right in thinking that the machine guns stay at 4D?
Second question: How does the AT Gun & Crew work? if firing at a vehicle am I correct in thinking that I only get the 5 dice for the AT gun itself + 1 for optimum range (is it always in optimum range?). When firing against troops would I get 4 dice for the AT gun + 3 dice for 3 troops with their SMGs, with say the 4th troop not contributing +1 dice as he would be actually manning the gun? That seems reasonable to me but it's a total guess.

Most of the atributes are already factored into the vehicle stats . Often we will mention atributes for clarity and examples , as guides if you will... So the heavy hitter atribute is already factored in . The MG atribute is already factored in as well. Guns You only get the AT FP when firing against vehicles. you may claim the + 1 for OR (you are correct its always in OR). when the gun is in contact with Infantry you only get the AP value the gun is attacked as a vehicle . any result other then vehicle suppressed indicate the gun is destroyed. Any attack on the gun means the crew is attacked as well but with one less FP die and the crew may claim any cover bonus die the position afords them, the attack is resolved in the same manner as any other attack on infantry. ****you do not count the crew members they are already factored in the AT/AP rating . If the crew abandons the gun they are treated as any other infantry unit . Mikey

Thanks a lot, Mikey. I play too many game systems and have way too little gaming time, so whenever I go back to play one I've always a tonne of things I can't remember

The biggest problem we have had is with the dprg. No matter what we do they have no chance of winning. We don't even let Arden use it's artillery asset.

Interesting I played the DPRG last night and won but it was very close, something like 46 to 30. My opponent is even less experienced at Ambush Alley games than I am. Those DPRG APCs are DEATH-TRAPS! The troops would be better off walking than driving around in those bombs on wheels

Heh. Yeah. They get better as the Brazilian tech starts coming in, though.
