I'm looking for information on the composition of an Israeli infantry squad. What I current have is 10 men with 1 LMG, 1 RPG and the rest with assault rifles. Mounted in M-3 half-tracks or M-113's.

Well, are you looking for an "official" organization or one in the field? Almost everything I've been reading about for the 1973 conflict says that no official organization survived contact with the ad hoc nature of the mobilization, so many infantry squads and platoons were not at full strength. Your organization is as good as any I've found.

Last year I was lucky enough to take part in a security conference and met a gent called zake wieberg who had served in the IDF in lebenon ,has already stated the section formation was pretty add hoc dependent on role but his section was usually as follows :
1x m113 zelda 1st section 1x nco assault rifle 3 x assault rifle 1 x lmg
2nd section 1x team leader assault rifle 3xassault rifle 1xrpg
The rifles were a mix (persnal choice) of Galli and M16 every one had AP grenades and usually carried spare ammo for the lmg or RPG

Thanks to all for the response. My information source is a fellow gamer. Since I just recently received my copy of "Force on Force" there is another question. That is regarding data on Centurion tanks. I don't see it in the British vehicle section. Am I missing it in another section of the rules?

That helps. I'm interested in trying the scenario on page 194 of the rules.

A friend of mine is interested in the current organisation and equipment of the IDF. Any suggestions?
