Western (and some eastern) armies are putting more and more faith in high technology to give their soldiers an edge over their foes. Maybe too much faith, but that's another story.

Here are some rule proposals to portrait some of these high-tech wonders in case you want to experiment them on your game board.

XM25 CDTE air burst grenade launcher

The XM25 fires 25 mm grenades which can be set to detonate in mid-air just above or near the target.

Game specs : Support weapon - Lt. AP:1 / AT:-

It negates any cover defense dice for intervening cover as any cover dice provided by non roofed covers, such as walls, sand bagged walls, trenches, etc...
Roofed covers such as buildings or bunkers are unaffected.

------

Self-guided bullet

The self-guided bullet is a .50 cal fin stabilized discarding sabot cartridge which can be used by heavy sniper rifles. It is equipped with sensors, a 8-bits processor and tiny fins which allows it to be laser guided and corrects its trajectory to the target.

Game specs : A heavy sniper rifle equipped with self-guided bullets can reroll any missed dice once per fire round.

------

Please be free to add your own hardware to this list ;)

Comments/suggestions are welcome.
