I'm not dead yet.
Trying out a 1/72 scale. 25mm high. Working with measurements to a new scale I've come to note that I've had considerable scale creep on the heads of my figures. They're HUGE. I want to do another 1/64 and I want to do also a 1/35. I've started on them but not anything to show yet.

Trooper #1 gets a tab. #2 is on the way.

I am working more on my illustration. Another sneak preview(please note that it's a work in progress):

A little off topic and spammy maybe but I thought if you like my style you'd love this devGRob T-Shirt I've submitted to threadless. Please forgive this blatant self advertising. :)

Hi dudes, I'm back from my slump.
New project : 1:72/20mm Bundeswehr modern Afghanistan infantry. I'm making these as a sort of pilot commission for working with a young German company. The first batch is 5 figures, shooting small arms. Here's where I got so far with the first one.

I'll update when I've made some more significant progress. If you want more regular updates just check out my blog.

This time, since re-doing the leg would have been silly, I redid the torso. The leg is pretty much as the reference. The torso was quite undersized. The deltoids will really bring it home, I think.

The shape of the helmet is a little off, I'll try to fix it when I add the cover. I've also been advised that I need to add a p8 pistol so that'll go on the left hand side of his vest.

The shirt art is great and the figures are coming along spectacularly well! Keep up the great work, sir!

Thanks Shawn! It means alot to me coming from you.
I wound up putting this shirt design and others on RedBubble who print by demand so people can get it if they want in shirts, hoodies and some things even in baby clothes:

A little progress.

There's some kind of preparation for a leg drop rig but as it looks I might just carve down and go from there. Not happy with the shoe soles either so they'll probably get a good resculpting at the end. I'll add the cargo pocket later.
