I came across these and hadn't seen them mentioned http://www.cavalcadewargames.com/cavalcade/Somali_Pirates.html
Not much of a range at the moment but if you need some 28mm Somali Pirates they might just do the job. I haven't seen them in the flesh but thought you 28mm guys might be interested.
Cheers,
Darren

Given all of the attention that they're getting (and all of it is well deserved!)...I'm surprised that Empress Miniatures wasn't added to this list yet...so here they are!

Great stuff and first class service!

Guys,
Bob at Imprint Models has posted pics of his 1/50 Scale Stryker and Stryker MGS on his website. The models are available for preorder and they look AWESOME! I have his Challenger II, Warrior MICV, Bradley, T-80, BMP3, LAV25 and T-90 so the quality will be great. They go together easy and paint up well. My T-90 is on the details page of his website for the T-90 as an example. Here's the website for his on-line shop:
http://www.imprintmodels.co.uk/Shop.aspx
His models are fully compatible with TAG, Brooks Miniatures, Mongrel, Empress, Devil Dog, JC, MoFo, Eureka, Redstar and Brittania 28mm Ranges. The vehicles also fit well with HLBS (1/48th) and even Sloppy Jalopy (1/56th) scale vehicles. For the 1/56 scale vehicles, just ensure you keep the types segregated and there are no issues. Bob is a stand-up guy to deal with and I've always been satisfied with his product and service.
Tom

I thought initially I would have to go away from 28mm to 20mm something I really did not want to do after seeing the figures from empress and eureka. Thanks again. Just what I was looking for.

Guys, Great news! I just heard from Bob at Imprint. The first technical is ready to be released! It's a pickup truck with a ZU23 in the back! I have attached a picture of the model from Bob. It will sell for around 16GBP. You should find it on the website next week: http://www.imprintmodels.co.uk/About.aspxor be able to get them soon from Steve at Age of Glory now that he's carrying Imprint products! I love the ZU 23 on the kit and can't wait to see what else he comes up with! Take Care,

Time ago MONGREL produced those but now it seems OUT OF BUSINESS. Dragging up an old post here, but I finally found Mongrel Miniatures being supplied by Newline Designs in the UK ... http://newlinedesigns.co.uk/I really like the look of some of their Taliban command figures. Anyone know how well they scale with Eureka?

Fairly new to the 28mm vehicle scene is Company B http://homepage.mac.com/brentdietrich/c ... derns.htmlThey're working in conjunction with Eureka and just released an IFAV that coincidently happens to fit the Eureka SEAL vehicle crew. Also their Stryker is particularly (ahem) striking. They have a what's coming up list too which mentions a Bushmaster in the works. Hopefully this means Eureka will be making 28mm Aussies (good news for me!).

Can't think of anywhere else to put this so I guess I'll put it here.
Eureka have finally accepted my submission for 28mm Iraqis in their 100 club. I asked for a variety of poses and headwear as well as some foreign fighters. At the moment it's just Iraqi Regulars they've put on the 100 club list. If you really want some Iraqi regs to play Road to Baghdad missions or your own custom Iraqi missions I urge all 28mm gamers to please "purchase" some of these.
Cheers
