Hey, folks! Great news!
Geoff from QRF sent me an e-mail today announcing the release of unarmed Middle Eastern civvies in 15mm. Here's the pertinent part of his e-mail:
MMI01 - Arab civilians, £2.00 for 8
In dishdasha streetwear, ideal for populating your local Saudi, Iraqi, etc, streets. Paint the robes mainly white or light colours (pale blue, cream or brown)
He sent a pic, too, but I'm having trouble getting it to post. I'll get it posted up as soon as I can.

These figures make up the bulk of my Civilian Mobs.

Just got two bags of these, a total of 16, they look good and they ought to be dead simple to paint.

I haven't gotten much done yet, so I haven't had much to say... I like the QRF figures now that they're here. The Civvies and News crew are nice and the US Marines look like Marines.
I've just got the QRF civvies glued down to bases, and I've started cutting styrofoam building shapes (figuring to make something to play with and then later do better buildings at a slower pace). My 15+ year old Sudan collection is coming in handy too, I already have the groundcloth, a bunch of palm trees, and some colonial-era buildings to add variety.
I'd like to find a US source for the LVTP-7, since I bought Marine infantry, though I picked up a Bradley locally -- as bad as I paint, I can call my soldiers any service I want. Maybe I'll field a Coast Guard patrol vs insurgents...

Mark at Scale Creep should have some of ours, or you can try and track down some of the Matchbox versions.

You are the best, Geoff. I don't know why I fixed on ordering from the US, the biggest delay in getting more figures isn't going to be the shipping time from QRF, its going to be the slow pace of my painting the figures I already have...
Actually, though, I have just (enlisted? recruited? drafted?) implored my friend Tom to score me one of your fine LVTP-7 models at Historicon.
