I picked up a couple of packs of 28mm very modern looking British infantry at Salute, from Empress Miniatures.

Incredibly detailed minis, you can even see the Nexus clips on the pouches. Had a go at MTP, it's a tad on the dark side, so I'm pretending they have all just crossed a river . . .

Wow - I'll second the amazing comment! Empress makes some extremely detailed minis and it looks like you really took advantage of that as you painted them. Great work!

Fantastic work they belong in a display case. Dont worry about being too dark could be later in the day i.e Dusk or Early in the morning, new in theatre etc. Brilliant work!

There were supposed to be some lighter patches in the base camo, like these WIP Zombies for 40k:

Really amazing achievement with the camo and figs all over! The dark doesn't matter, it looks just right to me. Good job and I also like those zombies :)

Not so far. These were a bit of a test as I hadn't painted any 28mmm modern stuff before. I plan on getting the rest of the set, but not looked into vehicle options yet. Any suggestions/link would be appreciated.

You've probably already seen these, but Empress has a vehicles category with a few that might be of interest to you:

Do you do any commission painting work by the way? If not, do you have any painting tutorials and/or lists of what you use?

Again, great work - the close-ups do not disappoint!
