Folks, for a long while I've been trying to find a suitable product for 20mm Bar Armour for my modern vehicles. I've added some to a Britannia Scimitar for my Helmand Brits but I was never really happy with it, it was the wrong profile. When you see the real thing its noticible how "see through" it appears. The options with what I had was to cover it totally with cam net to hide the incorrect profile which sort of defeats the object To cut a long story short I've had my own Etch Brass Sheet commissioned, its a generic sheet, the correct profile, or as near as, that you cut to fit your vehicle. As a sample I've replaced the Bar Armour on my Scimitar, some photos below. It is only for the anal amongst us and I will be making the sheet available to interested parties, if you are interested PM me and I'll forward the details. Dougie. The Scimitar as it was  The old armour removed and the new bar armour added to the hull.  A couple of shots of the turret with the first colour added, still work to do but I'm happier with the look.

Is this only good for Bar Armor on the Scimitar? Some US vehicles use this too.....
