The kits run $55 each. I found them on eBay and it just happened by chance the seller is in Virginia and lived close to where I work. He gets them from a supplier in Hungry. The Resinec kits are out of Russia and Armada is out of I believe Chech Republic. They are hard to find and most places that sell them have to order and it takes about 3-4 months. His name is Marcin Slusarz and sells on eBay as "gadget_martin". His blog is: www.dyzioscalemodels.blogspot.com, email is martin.slusarz@gmail.com. He is a modeler and comes from Poland. Very nice guy to deal with and resin kits from all over EU. Also has some really nice modern Polish armored vehicle kits. Now we just need Elheim or S&S to do the modern Polish infantry for Afganistan! He just put in an order for more. He pays for the kits up front and will only put them on eBay when he has them. I ordered 2 more of each so that will give me 4 each. Resinec is also going to release another version of the maxxpro and a 6 wheel version too. Armada Hobby also has a pretty good line of vehicle kits also. I'll track down some links. Contact him directly and he may be able to add to his order. I buy direct from him now. He is a modeler and is very pasionate for the Polish army. Great guy and knows all the sculpters. He is working on a some stuff himself and with some friends in the EU. John

thanks for the info i am sure most gamers will not be willing or able to pay $55 each for them and if they are kits with ecthed brass that will put them off even more. i may well get around to doing my own at some point. modern polish trops is another interesting point, maybe they could be converted from existing figs. thanks shaun

Well, the modern Polish army in Afganistan is using the the new US helmets, a mix of uniforms and weapons. I got a bunch of pictures from Marcin. I'll pull the links up and post them. As for weapons, they have a mix of US, NATO, and their own versiion of the AK74. I'll have it up as soon as I can get on my laptop.

Shaun, What intrigued me in wanting to do Polish is the videos of them in action. F-16's with Mig-29's, they use 40 Cougars, up armored humvees, and their own production equipment. And they have been on the ground for a long time . All we need is the figures.
Thanks, John
