I love it!! I love the BF2 pc game style building with the unfinished next storey!!
For the idea with the tiles: do you think its going to look good? I mean, with those roads - the way you did their layout - you won't really be able to set the table up in any other way without making it look weird.

I agree - great idea for tiles but as an old Panzerblitz from Avalon Hill fan, the boards should be "geomorphic". That means no matter which way you put them, the match up with a tile next to them.
You should put that circle on one tile, then you could take it out if you wanted a straight road without making 6 to 9 other tiles useless.
Hope this suggestion helps - it's not meant as criticism.

Good looking setup. I agree with Tom in that you might want to put that circle on one larger tile and keep your roads modular. One thing we do here when making boards for our roads and rivers is we always have them either come to the center or off center of the 2x2 mdf board at 4" or 6" depending on the size. That way they always meet up no matter what way you put them. Love the BF2 style building!

Thx for the comments and hints so far. It will help me to figure out the best way and use of the tiles, I guess. I will do more paper tiles to look and than I will post it again.

That looks very, very promising dude!
The unfinished second story is a brilliant touch! I wish I had thought of that.
It reminds me of Greece. I understand that unfinished houses there get a tax cut or something, so at least 50% of all the houses has those bars sticking out because they are "not finished".

Big thx to Faustnik for the inspiring pictures of his Falluja house.
I will add the details in one final step to all the buildings.

Wow, they are incredible. I can't help but feel a little proud for starting you on this path.
Because they have to fit on my board, all my buildings have to fit on either a 20x20cm or a 20x30cm. However, I see now that you can have a lot more freedom and create more interesting buildings when you don't stick to a format like that. Hmm, food for thought...
When can we see some painted examples?
