It looks like most, if not all of AAG will be at Fall Recruits this year. I know some of you were talking about running games at Recruits this fall. If you're planning to please drop me a PM.
We'll probably do at least one Force on Force demo and we'd like to see about some coordination with anyone else doing something. Among other things.

I'll be happy to help coordinate an event...However, I'm running a lot of Warmachine stuff, so let me know if you need any help and I'll double check my schedule. I'd be interested in helping more with Ambush Z stuff as first priority.

Of course. Same weekend as HMGS-GL's Advance the Colors in Springfield, OH, where I will be running at least 1 AA/FoF game (if not more...).

We usually end up going to Applebees right around the corner on Saturday near the closing of the doors that night (10pm or so).
All you AA people are welcome and invited to join us too. Come one, come all!

Any idea who is running a game there? I may be running one on Sunday due to me being in the Flames of War playtests of a new book. If anyone wants details of my game just ask, however if anyone is doing a game I would love to check it out and ask questions
Thanks for your time

Well, Recruits is held twice a year...so you can get in on it in late March / early April and then in September.
You can't beat the price for the vendors, exhibitors, and variety of games that are offered.
Size wise, it is a small con (300-450 people depending on the season and timing and economy), but it's nothing less than the best in the region in my opinion.
I've got links to Recruits pictures in my Blog.

I loved Recruits. I think it's a great sized Con and Duane does a great job managing it. We intend to make it to both events every year if at all possible. It's just that much fun.
The people are great, there are fantastic vendors, and the gaming floor is non-stop eye-candy. Seriously.
I can't recommend it highly enough.

I have to back up Shawn on his assessment of Recruits. It's awesome!
It actually inspired me to spend money, which is truly an epic achievment.
Some of the tables just left me speechless. There are some really great terrain makers that attend.

Where are you from Gordy? I'm 90 + miles south of Lee's Summit. If you're close (unlikely as it is) we might be able to arrange an AA/AZ game at some point.

Hey Varagon -
I'm up in Kansas City (Lenexa). 90 miles... that puts you in about... Fort Scott?
An AA game would be great. It's also approaching playtest time for the space combat game.

Well then....I'll be in Kansas City for the next several Wednesdays and am free from 5pm to about 7:30. I have to be at a meeting at 8pm up on 75th.
We could meet up at Tabletop or 31st Century. My preference would be 31st. I can even meet up around 9:15 until whenever as well.

Hi all,
Just wanted to pass the link along to register your events:
http://recruits.mtswebsites.com/Events.php
I'm going to be available either Saturday morning or Saturday evening if you want some help running Ambush Z.
Which is your preference? I need to adjust my schedule to help out.
