Anyone happen to be doing any games at Gencon Indy this year?
My search-foo is weak, so sorry if I missed the posting

Hey Gunny
Are you near Chicago? This weekend April 23-25 in Chicago area is Little Wars convention. Three games there - two Ambush alley and one force on force.

Not to far away, in Detroit a rest from the combat zone here would be nice but I promised my boys we go to Greenfield Museum

Always next year - about the same time.

AAGs were not in attendance unfortunately.

This is one of the reasons I stopped going to GenCon as the number of mini games and how they seperated them all into different rooms really turned me off. That and the expense.

Oh, thanks for the info.
Having only been to GenCon a few times my self, some time back ... what is the alternative? Historicon, something else? Where do all the miniatures players go.

Depends on where you live and how far you are willing to travel. Yes there is Historicon and Cold Wars out east. Little Wars, Spring and Fall Recruits in the midwest. And a buch more, just try looking up any of the HMGS websites for a list. The east chapter has a good list, and the MW has a bunch listed on their sites.
