Hi,

yeah, i know, it¥s again a question for paints of US rangers. But in the existing threads on this forum i did¥t find the answers I¥m looking for...

But it¥s a quite simple question, concerning vallejos model color range

As far as i know the best basecolour for the BDU is Iraqi Sand, right? But what would be the appropriate colour for the webbing? That¥s it...

IÂ¥d appreciate many many hints... My minis should arrive in the next days...

greetz,

Ragnar65

Hey, I know it¥s a pretty boring topic, but is there really nobody who can give me some advise?

A good base color for the webbing is Vallejo US Dark Green 893.

For the rest of the uniform, I use Khaki for the greenish spots and Flat Brown for the brown stripes. Khaki isn't perfect but it is a good compromise. I originally tried Brown Green and Green Grey, but those colors were way off.

Here, to give you a good comparison, I put some paints onto one of my old jackets. Keep in mind, this jacket is faded from use and the colors are altered by sunlight and infrequent hand washing.
