Not really a battlereport but still:
At the weekend I ran 5 games of FoF in Afghanistan at a convention ... pics can be seen here:

The games all went well with 4 people playing the ISAF troops (fireteam each) while I ran the Taliban ... people playing ranged from vets who were fresh back from doing it for real, historic wargamers and some 40K teenager players!

All of them enjoyed it ... needless to say the vets did the best, they were the only ones to employ smoke, call in air support at the right time and actually not use the most obvious route out of trouble. Surprisingly the 40K group did extremely well ... the ones that faired the worse were the historical gamers who just took it like a 'meet and greet' engagement!

Overall I think we had some more converts even though most people expected me to be demoing Flying Lead ... not playing FoF

I'm quite amused by the 40Kers doing well - it's probably all that youthful thinking-out-of-the-box or something.
