I'm looking to replace my current markers which are 30mm squares with 1, 2, 3 ech painted on them with something more zombie like. I'm thinking gravestones, coffins etc. Only problem is I cant find anywhere in England that does such things in 15/20mm.

Does anyone have any ideas, links etc. they could point me at? If all else fails I will have to scratch build my own.

Jim

How about some HO scenery? I'm not sure this is the best scale for 15/20 mm. I use O and OO for 25-28 mm.

HO works great for 15 and can be a little small for 20. But that's just buildings. If you're looking for ephemera to build markers with HO should work fine for both.

HO is what about 1/87?

Sewer Lids for an Urban Area might look good, or the doors leading to a sub-basement on the side of a house.

Just some other ideas.

S&S Models in the UK has some nice ones.

Granted...they're for Ambush Alley/Force on Force...but should work perfectly well with Ambush Z (IMHO). They have crates and barrels (not the store  ) and numbers.

I have a set of the ones for 28mm and love them.

Plus, he's one of the vendors that offers a SOG discount!

A few ideas for hot spots:

As mentioned by ifseeney and jim- crates, barrels, or cellar doors.
Coffins or modern, scientific crates
Tombstones
Tombstones combined with an open grave or arm thrusting up through the dirt
Toxic barrels (Eureka has awesome 28 mm barrels w/ zeds crawling out!)
Zombie(s)

Add numbers!

Try dumpsters? Antenociti do some as well (one version is open and has lots of junk - maybe a body - inside too!)
