Hi Guys,
we´ve tested a selfmade scenario for FoF, dealing with a US Troop disturbing a weapons deal between some Syrian regulars and a bunch of irregular troops.
Because it was the second time this setting was played, we spent lots of time dealing the rules and question concerning reinforcements for the Irregulars and such. We´re trying to provide you with a scenery map asap, for today we´de like to give you some impressions of that funny game.
Fighting took place in a town anywhere in the mid east. A compound was placed in the middle of the table, which is 6x4. We used 5 hotspots for reinforcements begiining with the 2nd turn. A key for a good game is the usage of an many building as possible with different heights to block LOS, even if troops enter the roofs.
The Syrians are regular troops, all other "bad boy"- elements are irregulars, which means activation checks if no leader is attached and the lower TQ. Reinforcements arrive automatically starting with turn 2.
Scenario Information:
Duration of Game: 8 Turns
US Objective: Enter the compound and hold it for at least one full turn.
Initiative: US first turn. Test for initiative on subsequent turns
Fog of War: Determined normally by RT rolls
Table Size: 6´x 4´
Okay, enough words are written, now see some pics (sorry for bad quality, used the cam of my mobile...)
