Crescent Root has just announced a couple of new buildings for their 28mm Middle Eastern buildings range.
You can see them here: http://www.crescent-root.com/25mm28mm_index.htm
The buildings I've seen from Crescent Root are superb. They're well worth a look!

Well, this is us;
www.chieftainmodels.co.uk
Not a lot to see as the website is undergoing a revamp at the moment, but the range is;
British
Chieftain Mk.5
CVRt - Scorpion, Scimitar, Sultan, Spartan, Stryker
Warsaw Pact & Export
T-62
T-72
Israeli
Sho't Kal
Mutt
All are true 28mm 1/56th scale.
They're also a bit good

I think Olaf has both on his website
www.mainly28s.com
There's a side-by-side comparison tool.
TAG are bloody enormous, Brooks I think are more true 28mm

I had the Britannia Mog stuff...
A bit chunky but very nice. Some really nice poses in the range and they look awesome when painted up.

Does anybody know where is possible to find RUSSIAN/SOVIETS of the 80s period?
I'd like to use my Talibans and my Afghan/Iraqi scenery also for facing russian forces.
Time ago MONGREL produced those but now it seems OUT OF BUSINESS.

http://www.redstarminiatures.eu/index.html
RedStar is producing russians for the 90s - along with some Chechen miniatures.
Mongrel is supposed to return back on stage at a later date, but I do not know when that will be. I just hope that they really will return, as their miniatures are really great.

REDSTAR ARE EXCELLENT
but,
I was looking for something to use for the Afghan occupation war.
I'm not extremely into uniform study but REDSTAR isn't suitable for a desertic game.
I suppose that Mongrel was the only one.
