Very nice! We had similar ideas on apartment buildings, Matakishi. Check this out:

I really like the approach you took to these buildings! Lots of flexibility and tactical challenge in those babies. Good job!

A balconied hotel is on my list (after the Mosque) which is going to look quite a bit like your building there.
Somewhere for CNN to hide :D

one of these days i'll have to do apt. buildings.... I'd like to do a whole table of them...

unfortunatley the bldgs I have now look more like a rural afghan village (which is just fine)....

I'm in the same boat - most of my buildings are definitely rural looking. I'm drawing up some new designs though - which is another reason I'm glad to see Matakishi posting up his stuff. Great inspiration, there.

Honestly, I like building terrain waaaay more than painting figures. Seeing a nice table or terrain "set" always gives me the itch to go to the drawing board!

After I get these table sets I'm on the hook for, I'll have to look into it! ;)

The dome is a resin one made by the late great Ian Weekley to aid scratchbuilders. They are available from many retailers.

Er... that is, I meant to say, Thanks, it is indeed awesome, I carved it from soap :D
