New to the rule system, not to the subject matter.
I live in Albemarle County, Virginia and am looking for a gaming group. Currently I have enroute Empress Minis Americans and Eureka Mudj., Eureka Rhodesians & Terrs, and Eureka modern French.
I am always looking for painting and modeling tips. Specifically I am looking for recommendations for (as close as one can get) 1/56 scale Alouette IIIs (for G & K cars), Cessna 337(Lynx), CH-47s, AH-46s and UH-60s. I probably need to find a C-47 skytrain as well.
After spending the last 72 hours digesting the rules the only clarification I am looking at are for
- 60mm / Commando mortars... (they can fire within 70m, in contrast to the 18" inch no fire rule) and the use of Whilly Pete as an area denial and offensive weapon.
- Medic's the ALS clarification for Paramedic or SOMC qualified personnel in comparison to the TC3/CLS that most line grunts and the PHTLS+EMT Basic Medics one encounters in the regular units.
- Airborne Assault ---- yeah I have the P Identifier
Anyway it is good to be here and I hope to talk with some of you in time.
