i just finished "The Bush War In Rhodesia: The Extraordinary Combat Memoir of a Rhodesian Reconnaissance Specialist"

As times slips by more material is being churned out.... My parachute rifle company went on a Rhodesian book frenzy on my tour in the ghan. The impact was so profound ... That we the NCOs actually clamored change in doctirne.

Check out the publisher I gave they have a great selection of books on the subject matter. If you can chat a rhodie up some time and buy'em a jar.... I managed to establish a good dialogue with an ex RLI & 4RR vet.

I have The Saints which is a fantastic history book.

I also have 2 copies of "The Rhodesian War": one by Stackpole and another by a different publisher...but the same book (much to my chagrin). Great over all "summary" of the war: from cause to the end.

I read another one (I think it was Troopie) which was written by a vet of the RLI. I found that to be an easy read and very interesting. I think it gave you an idea of the "view" from the front lines.
