Hello,
I am planning the basing of my Modern British Force; as such I want to make sure I was calculating the Fire power dice correctly.
A 4 man fire Team
1 x Fire Team Leader w/ SA80 1 x Grenadier w/SA80 UGL (Lt. AP:1/AT:0) 1 x Gunner w/ L86A1 Light support Weapon (Lt: AP1/AT:0) 1 x Gunner w/L108A1 Minimi SAW (Lt. AP:1/AT:0)
Fire Power Dice = 4D (Team members) + 3D (UGL, LSW, and SAW)
Is that the right number of base dice and then add situational modifiers; well supplied, reactions, etc.?
Thanks

That looks right to me ...My Marines squads are mounted in 3 stands 1st stand has SL with rifle TL with rifle , riflemen with M203, Saw gunner and assistant Gunner with M4 which is 5 +2 The other fire teams are as above minus the SL so are 4 +2. Of course they are micro armour but any scale based as you did will work....Mikey

Thanks guys.
This is for 15mm but I will still be basing them 3-4 to a stand. After playing a few games I am convinced the game would run same as before and just requires tracking of causalities on the stands.

That's the conclusion a friend and I came to after playing a game with our 15mm WW2 grunts based for a different game, and then just have a few single based guys for Medics, Leaders, and so on.
I think the team bases make it easier for movement and tracking units, but the individual bases make it more flexible.
