Does anyone have anything down on paper/disc for the French and Viet Minh in this war? I have a lot of figures for the Viets and no idea how they might have organised themselves.

Thanks, that's a useful start.

One should note that the French and Viet Minh fireteams were mostly equipped with semi-auto (and sometimes bolt action) rifles and machine pistols (among them the ubiquitous MAT-49), so I guess the SAR (p16 of Ambush Valley) and SMG rules (p44 of FoF rulebook) would be recommended for any Indochina war scenarios. I hope it helps a bit.

Are you using 10mm miniatures (pendraken)?

No, although if I was starting from scratch they would be my first choice (Pendraken are just down the road from me).

I'm using Liberation Miniatures for the VM as I inherited a big bag of them from a friend. The French and any other VM I buy will probably be Platoon 20 - worse figures but they do take Paypal. :D
