Very interesting thread. As I get a chance I will make sure to read over it more fully.

I will say though, that if I get the opportunity to paint up my elementals and play TW with it.. I dont know that I will include any mechs. Honestly, BT really shafts the infantry/battle armor/tanks in the existing game. I would think using TW as the setting for it would be a prime opportunity to play games that you cant really play with the actual game.

That, and I dont know where I would get a mech.... but anyway. :) If one were to include a mech, I would treat it more like off-table support. No sane mechwarrior generally goes into built up urban areas, and no sane infantryman is going to come out of that to engage a mech.

Still, I will take a look at what you have here and offer opinions as I can. BT was my first miniatures game.. I just wish there were available figures for it in 15mm.

In my games that won't be an issue. Its vehicles only most of the time. Yet the action/reaction and overwatch rules make an interesting game that for sure is more tactical than BT would ever be.

I believe there are Japanese kits of mechs in 1/100 scale. Any humanoid 15mm Sci Fi infantry should be fine, just as many of the more generic Sci-Fi tanks.

Considering BT myself, but like I said, I think I am going to use Mechs as off-table support.

As for figures, any sci-fi works for infantry.. but suits? Elementals are VERY specific in appearance.. and I have plenty of figures, just in 6mm/20mm. I lack a good looking clan battlearmor suit in 15mm.

if you go with some of the BT universe fluff...

AC-5 on the marauder is listed as a 75mm
AC-20 on the Hunchback is listed as a 200mm

the MGs vary a lot, mostly in the 12-15mm range, or 20mm, I would treat the 20mm as Improved
MG

Had to fix the damage system first, now I can go ahead and play around with damage dealt.

On page 2 of this thread there is an answer of myself, having a MS Word file attached with my upgraded BattleMech damage chart.
