I know I sent you guys pictures awhile back but I never expected to open the book see myself looking back from the front page. That first picture is one of my Pathfinder team after the attack on Wanat, I'm sitting right in the middle, beat to death, just like the rest of them. The book looked really good and you represented the scenarios very well. You really did your research. Now I have to get a copy for my mother...

We try our best to get accounts of actual participants or at least first hand recorded accounts.
We can't always do that and that means the actions of our own and allies don't make it into the books .
So alot of people accuse AAG of being American centric. Its is the constant struggle for accuracy while maintaining opsec that most folks don't understand.
Shane doesn't put out stuff just to make a buck he wants the work to be as historically accurate as possible .
This desire for quality and the involvement of combat vets military analysts and consultants have been a constant source of pride since I joined the team of developers and consultants several years ago......Mikey

Thank You Jim.

I know all about the fun of ballancing historical accuracy with OPSEC, especially when writing about a conflict that's still ongoing. I made sure to run every photo I sent through our intel guys to make sure it was all kosher before sending them out. Hopefully, before too long, this will be another "past" conflict and the content will be easier to work with knowing that we don't still have people in harms way. There was always a little peice in the back of my mind on every mission wondering if this one or that one would end up being the basis for a future scenario. A little morbid, I know but it was there.

I sent you an email Shawn but it might be an old address. Did you change addresses not too long ago? I sent it to dscarpenter@gmail.com.

I use Shawn@ambushalleygames.com mostly these days, but I'll check the dscarpenter e-mail and get her address from there. If I can't find it, I'll give you a shout!

AGREED! I don't want a scenario too pointy where we have to make 'rambo'-esque or 'john wayne'-esque , real scenarios, real action, and no lies.
