Hi not a convention but this may be the right place to post, I will be running small Ambush Alley paticipation games and a tournament with the intention of raising money through donations for the Royal British Legions Poppy Appeal 2010.
The first event will take place in the Wargames Emporium in Sheffield on the 10th of Feb and a second at the same venue probably on the 13th. I will post up all further news and details and hopefully how much we are raising at regular intervals .
I would just like to say thanks to Ambush Alley and the Wargames Emporium(http://www.wargamesemporium.co.uk/ ) for thier help.

Richard :D

The charity BMYCHARITY who have been dealing with online donations for me are unfortunately having to close down due to lack of funding ,ironicly they have helped to raise over £28 million pounds for various uk charities so any one wishing to donate on line please do so before the 19th of march.

thank you

Hi just to thank our hosts at the last three fund raising events, Barnsley wargames club ,who have a nice club room thats for thier use only so allows for weekend games etc. Rotherham and Sheffield club who donated the most this week and to wargames emporium of sheffield.

Our next event will be at Triples in Sheffield on April 17th/18th where wargames Emporium will be giving a discount to anyone who plays and/or donates to the two different Ambush Alley games we will have running ,the discount will be on any Ambush Alley products purchased during the show .More news on the games and discounts in the next few days.

The online donation site we use has been saved by help for heroes so donations can still be made that way.

Wargames Emporium will soon have a new website and this will have a dedicated ambush alley section.

And finally we would like to thank Brittannia Miniatures for thier help and support and as you know we mainly use thier 20mm afghanistan range for our games we will shortley be running Malaya based games using the Ambush Valley rules and Inkerman castings from Brittannias sister company .
:D

Thanks

Hi I,ve got abusy month with my new job(s) so Ambush Alley demo games will be short on the ground this month, but we will be running a couple at the wargames Emporium in Sheffield and we have a lot planned from June till November. We will also be selling Raffle tickets at our Demo,s and through Wargames Emporium,we already have a few nice prizes donated but are always open for more so any traders (or gamers ) interested in helping the Royal British Legion please get in touch .More news soon.
