Good job!

One minor comment. Unless things have changed recently (always possible?), my understanding is that gear like body armor, ammo pouches, etc, is not MARPAT, but should be Coyote Brown, as the idea is to use the same gear with either the desert or woodlands version of MARPAT.

Sure, you can find civilian equipment and pouches in MARPAT. I understand that the paintballers and Playstation commandos love "military" gear like that, but I have never seen a photo of an actual Marine wearing MARPAT camo gear. Not saying 100% that they don't, but unless some has first-hand experience with actual Marines I tend to go with what I see in authentic "in theater" photos.

I could not find a lot of pics of actual USMC in woodlands MARPAT, but these guys in desert MARPAT is definetly wearing Coyote Brown gear, not camo so this was definetly the case at some point at least. Can anyone with first hand experience confirm of the Marines are still using Coyote Brown tac gear, or have they switched to MARPAT?

Yeah not having had much to do with the military in some 15 years I was not sure, would be no trouble to touch up the figures to make them authentic.

Anyone able to verify whether MARPAT is being used for equipment?

As a US Marine I can tell you for a fact I was never ever issued any gear with MARPAT camo on it.

usually Coyote brown for the vests and packs . There are a few awsome painting guides in the figure painting section as well as in the OEF FOF book by Piers....Mikey

Have just been touching them up (I mean that in the nicest possible way too :o ) and have done their webbing, packs, waterbottles etc in in an English Uniform colour.

It is meant to represent the jungle version not the desert version of the MARPAT uniform...
