Here are a few shots of some of my modern 20mm figs and the manufacturers.

Preiser civilians (these are architectural models in 1/72 scale)

And for good measure, the Redneck Technical.

The technical is a Dollar Tree monster truck repainted to green. The gun is from Stan Johanssen's Road Warrior weapons pack (lots of cool goodies to dress up Matchbox vehicles into post-apoc settings). I really do like Stan's stuff. It is inexpensive, relativelt no clean-up and come out looking pretty good. There is a good number of poses in the sets. I have more armed civilians to paint up in the near future.

Nice collection and neat painiting. Could you please post one or two comparison shots of the Caesar Miniatures stuff next to the Stan Johanssen minis?

Here you go.

The figure on the left is a Preiser 1/72 civilian. The guy in the middle is a modern US from FAA and on the left is a Caesar Terrorist.

Left to right is FAA, Caesar, Preisser and Stan Johanssen.

Thanks.

The Caesar stuff I picked up last spring at Tank Shock. It is a gaming con held at the armor museum in Danville, VA. If you do a search by way of Google, you should be able to find them. You get something like 60 figures in the box and they are plastic. They cost around $10 a box.

The FAA stuff comes from FAA at http://www.figuresarmourartilleryusa.com/. Baxter is a good guyt to deal with and he has a large selection of stuff to choose from.

Stan Johanssen stuff comes from Stan himself. He has a web site at http://www.stanjohansenminiatures.com/. He has a good selection and definitely has some odd things. The photos don't do his work justice. His prices are good and his service is excellent.

I picked up the Preiser figures at a local hobby shop. They are actually architectural models. At any rate, the entire box was around $15 and gave me more than enough civilians. If you Google them as well they should turn up.

Hope that helps!

Also, since you are in the general area, in May we are holding a brand new gaming con in Raliegh, NC. It all minis, all the time. It is called Spring Fever. I will post more in the general area about the con.
