15mm Science Fiction Buildings for Tomorrow's War!

Tomorrow's War Building Line Incoming!

Allen Rockwell and I are pleased to announce that Gamecraft Miniatures and Ambush Alley Games have teamed up to develop a line of 15mm Science Fiction structures for use with Tomorrow's War (or any other 15mm sci-fi game, for that matter)!

These buildings will be constructed of laser-cut MDF or top-quality resin and will be available directly from Gamecraft Miniatures. We intend to provide a mixture of building types, ranging from pre-fabricated, first-generation colony shelters to the shops and high-rises of an established metropolitan area. Mix the two types together for a futuristic shanty town in the shadows of an urban sprawl.

Video Interviews with Shawn Carpenter

Our friends at Bring Your A-Game blog-zine have caught up with Shawn at Spring Recruits and cornered him for an interview, which you can view HERE. Brilliantly edited to remove the worst of Shawn's ramblings and mercifully spare the viewer his strongly held and extensive argument for the superiority of Ding Dongs over Twinkies, this series of short interviews puts the spotlight on Ambush Alley Games' history, the Origins Awards nominations for Force on Force and Tomorrow's War, and the development of a licensed line of Tomorrow's War figures with Ground Zero Games. Enjoy!

15mm GZG Tomorrow's War Figure Prototypes!

We've received the first metal prototypes of the 15mm Tomorrow's War figures by Ground Zero Games (GZG) and they're beauties! This first lot consists of troopers in five poses for the DPRG and Republic of Arden. The figures are crisply sculpted and amazingly detailed for 15mm. Sadly, the pictures I've taken don't really do these figures justice. Bare metal just doesn't reveal the true quality of these castings!

GZG and Ambush Alley Games are working together to fully develop these two factions (and the factions to follow). We're working on specialists (officers, NCOs, com techs, medics, robot wranglers, etc.), additional support weapons, and crew served weapons for both the DPRG and the Republic of Arden.

Jon Tuffley will have samples of these figures at Salute and Ambush Alley Games will have them at Origins.

All of us at AAG and GZG are extremely excited about this growing line of fine 15mm science fiction figures - and hopefully you are, too!

Ambush Alley Games and CorSec Engineering Offer Markers for Force on Force® and Tomorrow’s War®

Many Ambush Alley Games players have asked us about the availability of game markers for Force on Force and Tomorrow’s War. We’re pleased to announce a partnership with CorSec Engineering to produce officially licensed markers for both game systems.

The innovative new markers from CorSec Engineering are magnetic for ease of storage and feature artwork that originated with one of the AAG forum members. They cover situations like casualties, pinned, hidden, vehicle damage, overwatch, and many, many other in-game situations. The markers are available from the CorSec Engineering website today (http://corseceng.com/mag-tokens/ambush-alley-games-mag-token-set) and will soon be available in retail hobby stores. The tokens will be available in both 40 token sets (one sheet) and 80 token sets (two sheets) for $6.99 and $10.99 respectively. Gamers can purchase a Vehicle sheet, Infantry sheet, or one of each as options.

"We think CorSec Engineering offers an excellent option for our players. The markers are attractive, magnetic (so you can stick them to a metal ruler or the side of a storage box), easy to read and come at a great price point," said Shawn Carpenter of AAG.

"I’m excited to be working with the folks at Ambush Alley Games and to be a part of two very popular game systems," said Jonathan Bowen of CorSec Engineering. "We’re already in discussions with several distributors, so these should be available in stores soon."
