Welcome to the Motor Pool!
This free, downloadable PDF is made available to assist Force on Force players in developing their own unit organizations and scenarios. We will keep this spreadsheet updated to include vehicles from our Companion Books and other supporting publications. We’ll also add vehicles that are requested or sent to us via our forum.
This spreadsheet contains several tabs containing vehicle stats. Each tab represents either a period of time or a specific theater of operations. It also contains a tab containing a list of example infantry weapons systems and another describing AT weapons (ATGMs in particular).
This spreadsheet has been left “open” so that you can add to it or modify it if you wish. We are perfectly aware that our estimations of vehicle armor and weapon efficiencies might differ from those of your group of players – we’re also perfectly happy to admit that your estimates could be more accurate and correct than ours. This document should be seen as a list of guidelines, not a canonical document written in stone. If you wish to make changes to it, and everyone in your group agrees to those changes, then have at it!
If you notice that vehicle or weapon stats in this document vary from those presented in our publications, those changes represent either modifications that were made based on input from players such as yourselves/new information that was not available to us at the time of original publication or variation based on the period represented by a given vehicle tab. Vehicles which are “obsolete” on the Ultramodern tab might not be on the Vietnam Conflict tab, for instance.
Of particular note are the new AT values for several main guns and ATGMs. These have been raised in many cases to increase their lethality in play. Please feel free to lower them to their previous levels if you prefer.
We are open to questions an discussion of the values in this sheet on our forum, but since we’re not claiming that the ratings in this document are canonical, please don’t expect us to indulge in lengthy debates on their values. This is an open document and you don’t need our permission to modify your copy to more closely match your concept of how a vehicle or weapon system should be rated in the game.
Enjoy!
